Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Pristine Clips, a subsidiary of Rostrum Holdings (Pty) Ltd, handles personal information collected through pristine-clips.com. It doesn't cover the separate internal Studio tool our own team uses to produce clips, which isn't public-facing.
What we collect
Right now the only personal information this site collects is what you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, email address, organization (if you give one), and your message. The form doesn't submit to a server — it opens your own email client with that information pre-filled, and you send it to us directly. We don't store it on this website or in any database here.
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology. If that changes — for example if we add site analytics later — we'll update this notice first.
Why we process it
Solely to respond to the inquiry you sent us — a quote request, a collaboration proposal, or a general question. We process it because you initiated contact and it's necessary to reply to you; we don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell or share it with third parties.
How long we keep it
For as long as is reasonably needed to handle your inquiry and keep a record of the conversation, consistent with normal business email retention — then it's deleted or archived in the ordinary course of our email housekeeping.
Your rights under POPIA
You can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you access to it
- Correct or update information that's inaccurate or out of date
- Delete information we no longer have a valid reason to keep
- Stop processing your information, or object to how we're using it
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
Our Information Officer
POPIA requires every organization to designate an Information Officer. Until ours is formally appointed and registered with the Information Regulator, direct any privacy query to hello@pristineclips.com.
Placeholder: name the Information Officer here once appointed, and register them with the Information Regulator — required under POPIA, not yet done.
Lodging a complaint
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can complain directly to us first, or go straight to South Africa's Information Regulator:
