Effective 3 November 2026
Where we stand today
Pristine Clips doesn't currently carry any sponsored or paid content — every clip we publish is editorial, chosen because of what it says, not who paid for it. This policy sets out how that will work if and when that changes, so the commitment is in place before we need it.
What counts as advertising
Any clip, caption, or post we're paid or otherwise compensated to make or feature — including a paid partnership, sponsorship, or promotional placement for a brand, campaign, or organization. Being credited as a clip's source (the channel it came from) isn't advertising; that's attribution, and every clip carries it regardless of payment.
How we'll label it
- Clearly, in plain language — "Sponsored," "Paid partnership," or "In partnership with [name]" — not a vague or buried disclosure.
- Before or within the first few seconds of the clip, and in the caption banner itself, not only in a description nobody reads.
- Consistently on every platform we publish to, in addition to that platform's own disclosure tools (YouTube's paid promotion toggle, Meta's branded content tags, and equivalents elsewhere).
What stays off-limits
Sponsorship will never decide which moment gets clipped, how it's captioned, or whether context or a counter-argument gets included. A paid partner gets a clear label, not editorial influence — that line doesn't move.
Questions or a partnership proposal
If you're a brand, non-profit, or organization interested in a partnership, or you think something we've published should have been labelled and wasn't, get in touch.
